1st October, all cancelled… No Running Man, 2 Days & 1 Night, or New Village

On the 1st of October, viewers will once again miss out on entertainment and dramas from the three major terrestrial broadcasters due to the broadcasting of the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.

KBS2 has decided to cancel “Boss’ Ears are Donkey Ears,” “1 Night 2 Days,” and “Live Your Own Life,” which were scheduled to air from 4:45 PM on Sunday.

MBC is cancelling “King of Masked Singer” and “Those Who Cross the Line – The Collection.”

SBS is also cancelling programs such as “TV Animal Farm,” “Inkigayo,” “Our Ugly Duckling,” and “Running Man.”

Particularly, “New Village,” which recently achieved high ratings of 16.1% with singer Lim Young-woong as a special MC, has been cancelled for the second consecutive week following last week’s cancellation.

Meanwhile, in Hangzhou, China, the women’s volleyball qualifying match between South Korea and Vietnam was held at 11:30 AM. Following that, the table tennis semifinals took place at 1:45 PM, and the finals are set to begin at 7 PM.

At 7:30 PM, the baseball qualifying match between South Korea and Hong Kong will be held, and at 9 PM, the men’s football quarterfinals between South Korea and China are scheduled.
