Local eyewitness accounts of the tvN’s new variety show “Seojin’s Place Season 2”, filmed in Iceland, are causing a stir online

Local eyewitness accounts of the tvN’s new variety show “Seojin’s Place Season 2”, filmed in Iceland, are causing a stir online.

Previously known for serving Korean snack food in Mexico’s Bacalar, “Seojin’s Place Season 2” is now offering hot K-food to suit the chilly weather in Iceland.

The store is located near Lake Tjornin in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. With the beautiful scenery unique to Iceland, the show seems to aim to showcase exotic foods to locals in a place where Korean restaurants are not common, garnering various reactions.

Furthermore, it’s rumored that they have introduced a ‘Today’s Chef’ system, with Choi Woo-sik, who has primarily been responsible for serving, receiving praise for dishes like beef short rib stew. The food prices range from 30,000 to 50,000 won, and they also sell soju, actively promoting K-food and alcohol.

Particularly noteworthy in the video is Park Seo-joon diligently cleaning in front of the store. Along with eyewitness accounts of Lee Seo-jin and Go Min-si, with Park Seo-joon primarily serving and Jung Yoo-mi taking charge of the kitchen, there are also rumors circulating that it has become a ‘place where people line up to eat.’

Meanwhile, “Seojin’s Place” is a variety show where Lee Seo-jin, who was promoted from head chef to owner after the move from “Youn’s Kitchen,” operates a restaurant abroad. Directed by the ‘golden hand of entertainment’ PD Na Young-seok, it has been receiving attention.

In the Season 1 that ended in May last year, Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yoo-mi, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-sik, and BTS‘s V appeared, recording viewer ratings in the 6-9% range (based on Nielsen Korea’s paid household standards).

For Season 2, Go Min-si joined in place of V, who had to leave due to military service.

Earlier, on the 18th, the production team and cast of Season 2 departed for Iceland via Incheon International Airport for filming, attracting the anticipation and interest of fans.
