Actor Kim Dong-wook announces winter wedding with non-celebrity girlfriend amidst his busy year of success

According to YTN’s coverage today (30th), Kim Dong-wook is set to hold a wedding ceremony this coming winter with his non-celebrity girlfriend, who is known for her beauty. He has quietly been in a relationship with his non-celebrity girlfriend and recently began sharing news of their wedding preparations with close acquaintances.

Throughout this year, Kim Dong-wook has been tirelessly active. He consecutively appeared in the KBS drama “Encounter,” and tvN’s “Happy Swindlers.” In “Encounter,” he portrayed the time-traveling character “Yoon Hae-joon,” showcasing his delicate acting skills across various genres including thriller, romance, and drama.

In “Happy Swindlers,” he played the role of lawyer “Han Moo-young,” displaying a warm character that excessively empathizes with others’ emotions, which earned him a lot of love from viewers. Establishing himself as a trustworthy actor, 2023 has been a year where he successfully balances both work and love.

Kim Dong-wook, a graduate of the Korea National University of Arts’ School of Theater, debuted in 2004 with the movie “Sins of Fathers.” He gained significant recognition after appearing in the 2007 MBC drama “Coffee Prince,” and in 2019, he won the Grand Prize at the MBC Drama Awards for his role in “Special Labor Inspector, Mr. Jo.”

In addition to those, he has appeared in various works such as dramas “The Guest,” “The Man Living in Our House,” “You Are My Spring,” “The King of Pigs,” and movies “Ballet Gym,” “Take Off,” “The Concubine,” and he reached the pinnacle of 20 million moviegoers by appearing in “Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds” and its sequel.
