Actor Lee Do-hyun has firmly realized his determination for active duty enlistment, showcasing the confident moves of a leading star

On the 3rd, Lee Do-hyun‘s agency, WiP Entertainment Korea, officially confirmed the news of his enlistment through a statement. The agency stated, “There will be no separate official event on the day of his enlistment, as it will be a private gathering with many military personnel and family members. We ask fans to refrain from visiting him at this time.” They also added, “Please give warm support and encouragement to Lee Do-hyun, who will fulfill his military duty faithfully and return in good health.”

Previously, during an interview for JTBC’s drama ‘Bad Moms,’ Lee Do-hyun had expressed his strong determination for enlistment. When asked, “Aren’t you afraid or burdened by the career hiatus due to military service?” he confidently replied, “Not at all. I want to use my military service time as an actor and as a person to grow. I have been leading a very busy life, haven’t I? I think I will be given time to think slowly.”

He continued, “I’m also excited about the opportunity to meet more people and use it as a chance to gain valuable inspiration for my acting career. Fulfilling military duty is a remarkable task, isn’t it? Please don’t forget and wait for me.”

He hasn’t forgotten his fans either. On the upcoming 5th, just before his enlistment, Lee Do-hyun will hold his first-ever fan meeting to meet those who have supported him. It is expected that he will express his feelings about enlistment and his affection for his fans during the event. The agency also revealed that they have prepared various segments to present special memories, raising anticipation for the fan meeting. ‘2023 Lee Do-hyun Fan Meeting: The Beginning’ will take place at 6 p.m. on the 5th at Donghae Cultural Arts Center in Nowon-gu, Seoul.

Born in 1995, Lee Do-hyun graduated from Chung-Ang University’s Department of Theater and Film.
