ATEEZ’s “NOT OKAY” achieves platinum certification in Japan, solidifying global dominance

ATEEZ’s third Japanese single album, “NOT OKAY,” released on the 28th of last month, has surpassed 250,000 copies in cumulative shipments as of February, earning them a ‘Platinum’ certification.

With their Japanese single album, “NOT OKAY,” ATEEZ recorded sales of 178,135 copies on the first day of release, surpassing the first-day sales of their second Japanese single album, “Limitless,” by about eight times, showcasing the explosive increase in ATEEZ’s popularity in Japan.

Not only did ATEEZ continuously rank high on the Oricon daily single chart, but they also topped the Tower Records daily sales chart, Rakuten Music real-time chart, and RecoChoku daily album chart. Moreover, they ranked second on the Oricon weekly combined single chart and Billboard Japan Top Single Sales chart, dominating the Japanese local charts.

Furthermore, the title track “NOT OKAY” secured the top spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in eight countries, and its music video topped the YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide chart, proving global interest in ATEEZ.

Demonstrating a significant presence on the Japanese local charts, ATEEZ also achieved a remarkable feat of entering the UK Official Albums Chart sub-charts for 13 consecutive weeks with their second full-length album, “THE WORLD EP.FIN: WILL.” With consistent presence on various global charts, ATEEZ is solidifying their position as a representative figure in K-pop.

ATEEZ is set to perform at KCON HONG KONG 2024, which will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong on the 31st.
