On the morning of the 21st, a funeral ceremony for the late Chung Lim was being held at Gangnam Severance Hospital.
Chung Lim majored in Korean dance at the Korea National University of Arts and was a talented dancer who won various dance competitions. He made his debut as an actor in the KBS2 drama “I’m Sorry, I Love You” in 2004. He later appeared in dramas such as “Dream” and pursued both acting and singing careers, once being touted as a potential “Second Rain.” In March 2009, he officially debuted as a singer with the EP album “Step.” However, he suspended his activities after “Show Up” in 2010. In 2021, he revealed that he was working as a sales representative for a motorcycle company after getting married.
Particularly, Cho Mina, a fellow artist and acquaintance, expressed her grief on her SNS, saying, “Chung Lim was a bright and pure child I knew from BOF. I can still see his cheerful smile.” She continued, “My heart feels heavy as I think about how much pain and difficulty he must have endured. I pray that he rests in peace in a painless place. May he rest in peace.”
Chung Lim, who showed his talent as a singer and actor in various entertainment programs, unfortunately left this world without fully realizing his dreams.
The late Chung Lim will be laid to rest at a funeral home in Gyeonggi Province, Seongnam.
We would like to thank him for all the hard work he gave, may he rest in peace.
