BTS‘s V‘s appearance on the TVN show “Seo Jin’s” has been gaining attention, and the production behind the scenes was recently revealed.
On October 31, to discuss the behind the scenes of “Seo Jin’s”, producer Na Young-seok held a live broadcast with the “Egg is Coming” writers on the YouTube channel “Channel Full Moon” .
While discussing the challenges of overseas filming and mentioning the safety measures taken in places like Bakhalar, Mexico, where the show was shot, Na Young-seok said, “Because it’s BTS, something comes to mind.”
He went on to share his concerns when the youngest cast member, V, was confirmed for the show, saying, “I worried a lot after the youngest member (V) was cast because people could gather locally since he’s such a global star. So, there’s a new cast member, an idol. I’m worried.”
However, he humorously added, “As long as it’s not BTS V,” indicating that he felt relieved as long as it wasn’t the famous idol member. Na Young-seok recalled, “This was so funny. We didn’t even mention it on the day of the shoot. But when we saw V arriving at the airport…”
The filming of “Seo Jin’s House” took place in Mexico and was kept secret, with fans cooperating to ensure smooth production without disruptions. Some fans discreetly left notes expressing their love for Kim Taehyung (V) without causing a disturbance.
On the last day of the shoot, V personally made hot dogs and chicken for the fans, and the production staff expressed their gratitude to the fans with a caption that read, “Thank you to the fans who cooperated with the filming.”
The process of V’s casting and the well-behaved fan behavior during filming brought a new kind of fun and positive change, as Na Young-seok PD stated, “(Generation Z) V’s existence brought something new, a positive change.”
The touching moments and delightful experiences delivered by V and the fans provided a unique charm to the show’s production.
