D.O. (Do Kyung-soo) establishes new company ‘Company SooSoo’ with long-time manager; Exclusive contract with SM to end in November

EXO member D.O. (Do Kyung-soo) is establishing a new agency called ‘Company SooSoo’ with his long-time manager.

On the 18th, SM Entertainment announced, “D.O.‘s exclusive contract will come to an end in early November. While he will continue his activities with EXO under SM, his acting and individual activities will be carried out through a newly established agency by his former manager.”

D.O.’s long-time manager is Nam Kyung-soo. He. has often expressed deep trust and gratitude to Manager Nam in his award speeches and interviews. The name of the new agency, ‘SooSoo,’ is derived from both their names.

D.O., who debuted as an EXO member in 2012, began pursuing an acting career alongside his music activities in 2014, starting with the SBS drama ‘It’s Okay, That’s Love.’ He gained recognition for his acting skills through various projects, including the tvN drama ‘100 Days My Prince’, the ‘Along with the Gods’ film series, and ‘Swing Kids.’ Last summer, he won the Star of the Year award at the 32nd Buil Film Awards for his role in the film ‘The Moon’, directed by Kim Yong-hwa.
