EXO’s Chen to delays wedding to October with plans for solo activities in Japan

Amidst EXO Chen‘s upcoming Japanese solo album release and tour, he is also preparing for his wedding in October, marking three years since his marriage. However, he has not yet fully won over the hearts of fans.

On the 16th, a representative from Chen’s agency, SM Entertainment reported, “Chen will have his postponed wedding in October due to personal circumstances.”

According to a report by Portibi, Chen’s wedding will be a quiet affair with family, close relatives, and EXO members in attendance. Especially with both of his children present, it is expected to be a joyful and special occasion.

In January 2020, Chen wrote a handwritten letter announcing his relationship with a non-celebrity girlfriend, stating, “I have a girlfriend who I want to spend the rest of my life with. Blessings came to me unexpectedly.”

Three months later, in April of the same year, he welcomed his first daughter. Then, in January 2022 while he was serving in the military, he welcomed his second daughter, becoming a father before completing his military service.

Celebrating EXO’s 11th anniversary this year, after successfully concluding activities for their 7th full-length album ‘EXIST,’ Chen is set to release his first solo album in Japan, ‘Polaris,’ on the 17th. Additionally, starting from the 19th with a performance in Nagoya, he will hold a total of 8 concerts in 5 cities across Japan for the ‘CHEN JAPAN TOUR 2023 – Polaris -,’ where he will meet fans.
