EXO’s D.O. shared his thoughts on opening a social media account; “I haven’t taken any selfies, so I’m not sure what to post.”

Having debuted as a member of EXO in 2012 and started his acting career with the movie ‘Cart’ and drama ‘It’s Okay, That’s Love’ in 2014, Do Kyungsoo (known as D.O) has steadily pursued both singing and acting, establishing himself as a successful actor-singer.

Returning to his music activities with EXO’s 7th full-length album ‘EXIST’ on July 10th, and with the release of the movie ‘The Moon’ approaching, Do Kyungsoo has been busy with a full schedule. Recently, he garnered much attention by opening his personal social media account.

Regarding this, Do Kyungsoo said, “I’ve started communicating with fans through SNS after 11 years.” He added, “I couldn’t do it before. Looking back, I should have started (using SNS) from the beginning (when I debuted), but I lacked the courage.”

Up until now, Do Kyungsoo has only posted two images on his account, one of which features the title track ‘Cream Soda’ from his 7th full-length album, and the other is related to the movie ‘The Moon.’

Do Kyungsoo said, “Actually, I don’t take pictures. So, I’m not sure what kind of pictures to post.” He seemed puzzled and said, “There are no pictures of myself. I used to take pictures of food because I like food, but it seems like I don’t do that anymore.”

He continued, “I also like pictures of scenery and nature, but I don’t take pictures of them either. So, I really didn’t know what to upload. (Anyway) I opened the account, and I will also make an effort, but I still don’t know well.”

Do Kyungsoo expressed that he has always thought about communicating with fans through SNS. He mentioned about Bubble (a paid service app that allows artists to send and receive messages directly to and from fans), saying, “It’s a paid service, and I felt apologetic if I couldn’t do it often, so I hesitated (to use the paid app). But with personal SNS, I can post and share whenever I want, so I had such feelings.”

Recently, Do Kyungsoo has launched his personal Instagram account.
