Shin Jimin debuted as an AOA member in 2012. She worked as the leader and main rapper within the group, and also participated in Mnet’s competition programs like ‘Unpretty Rapstar’ and ‘Queendom’. However, she withdrew from the group in 2020 amid controversies related to former member Kwon Mina, announcing a hiatus.

After about a two-year hiatus, she signed an exclusive contract with Alomallo Entertainment in July of last year, marking a fresh start.
