IVE unleashes queen persona with title track ‘Baddie’ performance

K-pop group, IVE, has captured the attention of global fans with their new song ‘Baddie’ performance video.
According to their agency, Starship Entertainment, IVE appeared on Mnet’s digital studio M2 ‘STUDIO CHOOM’ on the 13th to showcase the performance of the title track ‘Baddie’ from their latest album ‘I’VE MINE’ as part of the ‘BE ORIGINAL’ content.
‘Baddie’ is an impressive track with powerful trap beats and a unique electric bass sound. It has gained attention as rapper BIG Naughty contributed to the lyrics.
In the released video, IVE’s sporty styling, featuring black as a unifying element while highlighting each member’s individuality, caught the eye. Additionally, they added a hip and mature visual touch with eye-catching makeup. Notably, member Jang Wonyoung‘s “Harley Queen makeup” left a strong impression.
As the song starts, IVE showcases a perfect harmony of powerful performance, gestures, and expressions, revealing their identity as performance experts. The video combines addictive melodies with flawless choreography, including well-controlled transitions and striking moves reminiscent of cats.
The ‘Baddie’ performance, showcasing IVE’s unique transformation, was enhanced by the participation of dance crew ‘Just Jerk’ member Jay-Ho and ‘Rachika.’
The album ‘I’VE MINE’ maintains IVE’s distinct color while attempting bold changes. Through triple title tracks ‘Baddie,’ ‘Off The Record,’ and ‘Either Way,’ it offers a diverse portrayal of their multifaceted image.
