IVE’s cinematic teaser for new song ‘Either way’ captivates fans

Starship Entertainment’s girl group, IVE, has heightened anticipation for their comeback by releasing a music video teaser reminiscent of a film preview.

On the 22nd, Starship Entertainment unveiled the teaser video for the pre-release title track ‘Either Way’ from IVE’s first mini-album ‘I’VE MINE’ on their official YouTube channel. The analog black-and-white sentiment of the ‘Either Way’ video paired with each member’s soulful gaze and the poetic yet dreamy melody evoked a profound atmosphere. Particularly noteworthy were the debut of Jang Wonyoung‘s blonde hair and the tearful expression of An Yujin, raising curiosity about the full music video.

The new song ‘Either Way’ begins with dreamy synths and exudes a poetic ambiance. With lyrics by singer-songwriter Sunwoo Junga, combined with the members’ emotive vocals, the video promises unparalleled visual aesthetics. Furthermore, Korea’s top CF director, Yoo Kwangkeun, known for his unique sensibility, has directed the video, enhancing its overall quality.

IVE’s upcoming album ‘I’VE MINE’ is expected to maintain their distinctive color while presenting an unpredictably expansive image. Through the triple title tracks – ‘Baddie’, ‘Off The Record’, and ‘Either Way’, the album will showcase various facets of the ‘self’.

In related news, before their domestic comeback on the 13th of next month, IVE will pre-release ‘Either Way’ on the 25th and ‘Off The Record’ on October 6th. Following that, on October 7th and 8th, they will kick off their first world tour, ‘IVE THE 1ST WORLD TOUR ‘SHOW WHAT I HAVE” at the Seoul Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium. The mini-album ‘I’VE MINE’ will be released on the 13th, together with the title track ‘Baddie’.
