K-pop stars such as LE SSERAFIM and ATEEZ will appear on stage at Coachella, America’s largest music festival.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which will be held in April in the Coachella Valley, a desert area in Indio, California, USA, started in 1999 and is the world’s largest music festival boasting tradition and authority. It attracts more than 200,000 audiences every year and is called the ‘dream stage’ of many musicians.
Last year, BLACKPINK became the first K-pop artist to be selected as a headliner and perform on the Coachella stage. BLACKPINK, who became the first Korean girl group to perform in 2019, returned as a headliner after four years and boasted great popularity, including being selected as the most streamed performance at Coachella last year.
This year too, K-pop idols are scheduled to perform on the stage. On the 16th, Coachella revealed the lineup for the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
LE SSERAFIM, who released their first English digital single “Perfect Night” last year, is continuing their long-running popularity by showing positive results on the US Billboard and Spotify, and this year’s solo stage on April 13th and 20th, showing their global presence.
On April 12th and 19th, ATEEZ will be the first K-pop boy group to perform on the stage. Previously, ATEEZ swept the top spot on the US Billboard 200 chart right after the release of their second full-length album, and proved their global popularity by entering the chart for five consecutive weeks. They will also show off their stage skills on the stage.
In addition, DJ Peggy Gu, who is active around the world, and The Rose, a band that is showing good results on the global charts, will also appear.
