Lee Dong-geon joins ‘My Ugly Duckling’ with his mother
On the afternoon of the 18th, according to OSEN’s coverage, actor Lee Dong-geon recently joined SBS’s ‘My Ugly Duckling’ as a new addition to the program and has completed the recording. On that day, his mother also participated in the indoor studio recording along with MCs Shin Dong-yeop and Seo Jang-hoon.
The episode of ‘My Ugly Duckling’ featuring Lee Dong-geon and his mother is set to air for the first time on October 29th.
‘My Ugly Duckling’ is a program where a mother takes on the role of a speaker and observes her son’s daily life while recording moments in the form of a child-rearing diary. Viewers can look forward to seeing Lee Dong-geon’s real daily life being revealed for the first time and his mother’s authentic reactions to it.
Lee Dong-geon, who was married to actress Jo Yoon-hee in 2017 and has a daughter, ended his marriage in 2020. After a hiatus, he made his appearance in the Netflix original series ‘Celebrity’ and, during the press conference, he expressed his dedication to spending time with his young daughter, saying, “I wondered how much time I should spend with her when she was five to seven years old.”
Lee Dong-geon initially entered the entertainment industry as a singer in 1998 and gained significant popularity while also pursuing an acting career. He has appeared in various works, including ‘Three Friends’, ‘Sang Doo! Let’s Go to School’, ‘Sweet 18’, ‘Lovers in Paris’, ‘Queen for 7 Days’, and ‘Celebrity’, among others.
