Lee Sun-kyun faces uncertainty as ‘No way out’ filming approaches amid drug allegations

“No way out” is hit with a sudden storm of uncertainty as Lee Sun-kyun prepares for his first shoot this weekend.

According to an exclusive report by Star News on the 20th, Lee Sun-kyun is confirmed to be gearing up for the first shoot of his new drama, “No way out,” this coming weekend.

While filming for “No way out” commenced on the 16th, Lee Sun-kyun’s scenes are scheduled for the 21st and 22nd. However, with his recent involvement in a drug controversy, it appears that he won’t be able to join the production immediately.

It was revealed on the 19th that Lee Sun-kyun is under investigation by the police in connection with drug allegations. The Incheon Police Agency recently obtained information related to drugs in their investigation of entertainment establishments in Gangnam, and it is reported that Lee Sun-kyun received a substantial sum of money from the alleged drug supplier, known as Mr. A.

Lee Sun-kyun’s agency, Hodu & U Entertainment, released an official statement on the 20th, saying, “We are currently verifying the accurate facts regarding the allegations raised against actor Lee Sun-kyun. We intend to cooperate truthfully with any investigations that may take place in the future. Additionally, actor Lee Sun-kyun has been subjected to ongoing defamation and threats from Mr. A, a figure associated with the case, and has submitted a complaint to the relevant authorities. We will provide further updates on the situation through legal representation.”

Meanwhile, “No way out” tells the story of a heinous criminal who committed a major crime and was released from prison after 13 years. With a bounty of 20 billion won on his life, the series explores the ensuing events.
