NCT’s Taeil suffers thigh fracture in motorcycle accident; “Activity suspension for surgery, to be absent from concert”

On the 15th, SM Entertainment, the agency of NCT, stated, “Early this morning, after finishing his schedule, Taeil was involved in a motorcycle accident while returning home. He was taken to the hospital for a detailed examination and treatment.”
They continued, “He was diagnosed with a fracture in his right thigh and has received medical advice that surgery is necessary. He is preparing for surgery and is currently receiving necessary treatment and resting at the hospital.”
SM explained, “Taeil will temporarily suspend all schedules and focus on treatment and recovery. We ask for the understanding of fans as he won’t be able to attend the NCT group concert ‘NCT NATION: To The World’ on the 26th.”
NCT is set to hold their first group concert, ‘NCT NATION,’ on the 26th at Incheon Munhak Stadium. The concerts will also take place on the 9th and 10th of next month at Nagai Athletics Stadium in Japan and on the 16th and 17th at Azuma Stadium.

Hello. We would like to provide an update on the health status and upcoming schedule of NCT’s Taeil.
Early on the 15th, after finishing his schedule, Taeil was involved in a motorcycle accident while returning home. He was taken to the hospital for a detailed examination and treatment.
The examination results revealed a fracture in his right thigh, and medical professionals advised that surgery is necessary. Currently, Taeyong is preparing for surgery and is receiving necessary treatment and resting at the hospital.
As a result, Taeil will temporarily suspend all schedules and focus on treatment and recovery. He won’t be able to attend the NCT group concert ‘NCT NATION: To The World’ on August 26th, and we ask for fans’ understanding.
