Park Sung-hoon is actively showcasing his talents by portraying a character caught between madness and deprivation in the tvN weekend drama “Queen of Tears.”

The drama “Queen of Tears” entered its latter half with the broadcast on April 6th. In the midst of this, Park Sung-hoon’s character is escalating extreme misdeeds to seize control of the Queens Group.

In the episodes aired on the 6th and 7th, the glimpses of Yoon Eun-sung’s madness stemming from past painful scars drew attention. Remembering vividly his mother Mo Seul-hee (played by Lee Mi-sook) who abandoned him in his childhood, the solitary upbringing made Eun-sung inevitably hardened. Prepared to discard anyone who rubs him the wrong way, Eun-sung targeted Chairman Hong Man-dae (played by Kim Gab-soo) and clearly drew a line between his and his mother’s goals.

Struggling fiercely to maintain his position as the youngest group chairman in the business world, Eun-sung engaged in a psychological battle with Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun), and upon learning of Hae-in’s illness, he began to threaten her. Finally succeeding in putting Hae-in at a press conference, the situation was quickly turned upside down by her unexpected remarks.

Eun-sung’s bulldozer-level misdeeds to climb to the top of the Queens Group are shaking up the drama. Park Sung-hoon’s versatile portrayal between madness and deprivation proves the spectrum of his acting skills.
