PLAVE’s agency, BLAST, has announced legal measures against malicious commenters.

On March 12th, BLAST officially posted a notice regarding legal measures to protect PLAVE on its official accounts.

BLAST stated, “Our company has been continuously monitoring malicious comments, defamation, and privacy violations against PLAVE members, as well as unauthorized disclosure of artists’ personal information and spreading baseless rumors about our company. We are carefully reviewing the cases reported by fans and taking strict legal action.”

They continued, “After reviewing over 20,000 reported cases and evidence collected by our company, we have completed criminal complaints filed in November 2023 for about 30 cases where criminal punishment was deemed possible. We have also completed legal measures against individuals who spread baseless rumors about PLAVE and our company on Twitter.”

Furthermore, they stated, “The cases filed are currently under investigation, and we have been informed by the Mapo Police Station, the investigating agency, that they have collected IP addresses for all cases reported. We demand strict punishment without leniency for the suspects, and we will firmly proceed with all legal procedures, including criminal punishment and civil damages claims, after the criminal punishment.”

**Legal Measures Notice for PLAVE Protection**

BLAST (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) continuously monitors malicious comments, defamation, and privacy violations against PLAVE members, as well as unauthorized disclosure of artists’ personal information and spreading baseless rumors about our company. We would like to inform you that we are taking strict legal measures against the cases reported by fans.

The Company is actively taking legal action against malicious online activities targeting PLAVE, and after reviewing over 20,000 reported cases and evidence collected by our company, we have completed criminal complaints filed in November 2023 for about 30 cases where criminal punishment was deemed possible. We have also completed legal measures against individuals who spread baseless rumors about PLAVE and our company on Twitter.

The cases filed are currently under investigation, and we have been informed by the Mapo Police Station, the investigating agency, that they have collected IP addresses for all cases reported. Due to procedural reasons, we are now announcing this notice.
