Cultural Heritage Administration: Ryu Jun-yeol has been recognized for his contributions

Ryu Jun-yeol has been recognized for his contributions by the Cultural Heritage Administration.

According to C-JeS Studio on the 10th, Ryu Jun-yeol received a commendation from the Cultural Heritage Administration for his talent donation through participation in an exhibition utilizing the “Chilbosan-do (七寶山圖) Folding Screen”.

Ryu Jun-yeol participated in the form of talent donation by narrating for the exhibition titled “Strolling through the Little Geumgang, Chilbosan: Digital Video Exhibition of Chilbosan-do Folding Screen in the Cleveland Museum of Art” showcased at the National Palace Museum of Korea and the Cleveland Museum of Art in the United States.

The “Chilbosan-do Folding Screen” depicts the scenery of Chilbosan in Myeongcheon, Hamgyeongbuk-do. This exhibition, concurrently held in both Korea and the United States, presents the “Chilbosan-do Folding Screen” from the Cleveland Museum of Art in an immersive digital format. Ryu Jun-yeol voiced the character of Kimho Im Hyeongsu (林亨秀, 1514~1547), the protagonist exploring Chilbosan, in Korean and English.

This exhibition marks the first digital content production project targeting overseas cultural heritage undertaken by the Cultural Heritage Administration and the Overseas Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation. It holds special significance as it signifies the shared value between Korea and the United States.

In particular, the commendation from the Cultural Heritage Administration was bestowed to recognize Ryu Jun-yeol’s contribution as a talent donor for the exhibition narration and the composer who participated in music production.

Meanwhile, Ryu Jun-yeol is currently busy filming his next project.
