Singer and actor Cha Eun Woo and actress Park Gyu Young’s drama “Lovestruck Again Today” is set to air on MBC in October

An industry insider stated, “Although filming was wrapped up in April, ‘A Good Day to Be A Dog,’ which had not secured a broadcasting slot, has recently been confirmed for broadcast on MBC.”

“A Good Day to Be A Dog” depicts a unpredictable fantasy romance between a woman cursed to turn into a dog when kissed, and a man who is the only one with the cheat key to break the curse, but is afraid of dogs.

The work is based on a popular webtoon that maintained a rating of 9.9 out of 10 throughout its two-year serialization period, consistently holding the top spot on Naver’s Sunday webtoon ranking.

Cha Eun Woo was casted for the role of Jin Seo Won, a man who is afraid of dogs, and Park Gyu Young was casted as Han Hae Na, a daughter who has inherited the curse for generations, gaining attention for their roles.

Particularly, as the two actors worked together in the music video for the song “This Night Became Special” by the group Urban Zakapa in 2018, their reunion as male and female leads after four years has drawn significant attention to the “chemistry” they will showcase.

In addition, young actors such as Lee Hyun Woo, Yoon Hyun Soo, and Ryu Abel are also participating in the drama, raising expectations for a youthful romance.

Filming for “A Good Day to Be A Dog” was completed in April, and preparations for the final stages of production are underway as the first broadcast approaches.
