Here is Changjo’s full message:
“Hello, Angels and Jeris! This is Choi Jong-hyun, also known as Changjo.
I debuted in 2010 and have been working hard until 2023. Among all the messages I’ve written to you, this one makes me feel a bit nervous.
I will be enlisting in the military on November 20, 2023.
I’ve always thought our Teen Top members who have enlisted and completed their service were amazing and cool when I saw them. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been preparing mentally while watching them, but I’m actually looking forward to my enlistment, and I’m feeling quite nervous.
My goal is to return to you as a more resilient and healthy individual. I’m grateful because you’ve supported me a lot, even though I was lacking in many ways from 2010 until now. Thanks to your support, I believe I can endure this time of being apart, and come back stronger and healthier.
Thank you very much for all your love and support.
I promise to fulfill my duties and return with a smile to repay the love from Angels & Jeri. Let’s live with the hope of meeting each other in good health in May 2025.
May 19, 2025, is a Monday, which is my discharge date. I will heal your Monday blues, won’t I? On that day, let’s smile and greet each other healthily! Thank you once again; I love you, Angels & Jeris.”
