The late Sulli’s work, “To the Truth,” will be revealed at the 28th Busan International Film Festival

On the afternoon of the 14th, a press conference for the 28th Busan International Film Festival was held online. Nam Dong-chul, the senior programmer, and Kang Seung-ah, acting executive director of the Busan International Film Festival, attended the press conference.

At this press conference, the detailed plans for the 28th Busan International Film Festival, including this year’s overview and features, opening and closing films, selected works by section, and major events, were revealed.

In the list of documentaries showcased at the 28th Busan International Film Festival’s Wide Angle Documentary Showcase, director Jung Yoon-seok’s “To the Truth” drew attention. The Busan International Film Festival introduced the work as a “captivating topic” and explained that it contains the late Sulli’s final interview.

“Persona 2” is the sequel to “Persona,” which bundled IU’s short films in 2019. Sulli had started filming as the lead actor, but production was halted after his death. The release of this work became uncertain, but it is scheduled to be unveiled at the 28th Busan International Film Festival.

The 28th Busan International Film Festival will be held from October 4th (Wednesday) for ten days at the Busan Cinema Center.
