Embrace the passionate journey in ‘The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract’, starring Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk

The comic fantasy romance drama ‘The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract’ is coming.

On the 17th, MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract’ unveiled its main poster, featuring Lee Se-young and Bae In-hyuk. The drama, set to air in November, is the follow-up to ‘Lovers.’

‘The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract’ tells the story of a 19th-century Confucian girl, Park Yeon-woo (Lee Se-young), and a 21st-century emotionless third-generation conglomerate, Kang Tae-ha (Bae In-hyuk), who enter into a contractual marriage that transcends death and takes place in 2023 in South Korea.

In the main poster, a white wedding venue adorned with flower decorations is the backdrop for the mysterious combination of Park Yeon-woo and Kang Tae-ha sitting side by side on the virgin road, heightening the romantic excitement.

Park Yeon-woo, who looks like she just jumped out of a traditional wedding ceremony, is wearing a colorful wedding dress and is taking a puzzled expression while tossing rice cakes.

In contrast, Kang Tae-ha, in a black tuxedo, holds a wedding ring in one hand and hands it to Park Yeon-woo, creating a subtle contrast.

Especially, under the Virgin Road where Park Yeon-woo and Kang Tae-ha are sitting, the phrase “Will you be my bride once again?” makes the viewer pause. It raises curiosity about how Park Yeon-woo and Kang Tae-ha’s destinies will be intertwined and what “once again” means.

The drama ‘The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract’ is based on the Naver web novel of the same name by author Kim Ne-wool and will premiere in November on MBC.
