TWICE shatters records with 100 million views for ‘Moonlight Sunrise’ MV

The globally popular girl group TWICE has achieved another milestone by surpassing 100 million views for their music video ‘MOONLIGHT SUNRISE.’

As of 11:29 PM on the 15th, the YouTube views for TWICE’s original English single ‘MOONLIGHT SUNRISE’ crossed the 100 million mark. This accomplishment adds to their already remarkable track record of 17 Korean title tracks, 4 Japanese singles, and their first English singles ‘The Feels’ and ‘MOONLIGHT SUNRISE,’ all accumulating 100 million or more views. This achievement solidifies them as the female group with the most 100-million-view videos globally.

‘MOONLIGHT SUNRISE’ is a Miami-based pop track that expresses the emotions and exhilaration of love metaphorically, comparing them to the bright moonlight and rising sun. Composed by K-Pop experts earattack and Lee Woo Hyun, and members of the American group Citizen Queen, Nina Ann Nelson and Kaedi Dalley, helped make it even better.

Recently, TWICE has also been spotlighted for their mini-album ‘READY TO BE,’ which was the only K-Pop girl group album to make it onto Rolling Stone’s list of ‘The Best Albums of 2023 So Far.’ Rolling Stone praised the album, stating it “breaks stereotypes and dismantles musical barriers, showing TWICE’s confidence in the K-Pop market.”
