Kang Dong Won is a South Korean film and television actor under YG Entertainment since January 2016. While studying Mechanical Engineering at Hanyang University, he was spotted on the streets by a modelling agent in 2000 and became a model. After this, he began his acting career with two dramas, and then filmed his first movie, “Too Beautiful to Lie”. However, his first real breakthrough was in “Temptation of the Wolves” in 2004, for which he won the Best New Actor Award at the 24th Critics Choice Awards. He has since become one of the top actors in South Korea.
