Remembering Lee Ji-han: 1 year after the tragic Itaewon incident

Reflecting on the life and legacy of ‘Produce 101’ alumnus and promising actor, Lee Ji-han

One year has passed since the tragic passing of actor Lee Ji-han, who rose to fame as a contestant on Mnet’s “Produce 101 Season 2.” Lee Ji-han sadly lost his life at the age of 24 due to the tragic accident that occurred in Itaewon, Seoul, on October 29 last year.

At the time, his agency expressed their deep sorrow, describing him as a friendly and warm friend who always greeted everyone with a bright smile. They expressed their disbelief that they would no longer be able to see the actor’s cheerful and pure spirit. They also hoped that people would warmly send off him on his final journey.

Born in 1998, he gained recognition through his appearance on “Produce 101 Season 2” in 2017. He continued his career as an actor, where he appeared “Today was Another Nam Hyun Day”.
