On the episode of tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘Nolto’) that aired on the 23rd, there was a special episode titled ‘Second-generation Idols Gather!’ with guests Sandara Park, Jung Yong-hwa, and Lee Hong-ki.
On this day, Sandara Park confessed that she is extremely introverted by nature. When Taeyeon empathized with her, Sandara Park mentioned, “We met for the first time in 13 years today. We first met in 2010 on ‘Strong Heart.'”
Shin Dong-yeop then asked Sandara Park, “So, back then, Sandara Park, with a capital ‘I,’ wasn’t 2NE1 known for its strong image? Did you practice things like costumes and expressions to appear strong?”
Sandara Park replied, “That’s the reason I raised my hair. To not be intimidated. You have to wear things like this to enjoy the stage and when it goes up to your eyes, you look powerful.” She explained that she made efforts to match 2NE1’s fierce image.
On this day, ‘Nolto’ featured idols representing the second generation, including Girls’ Generation, SHINee, FT Island, 2NE1, and CNBLUE, captivating the audience’s attention. Jung Yong-hwa shocked everyone by confessing, “I’ve been in the industry for 14 years, but I’m the youngest.”
Boom asked, “Didn’t you all promote together back then?” Taeyeon replied, “We met a lot, but we were so busy with our activities that we only saw each other while working.”
Key also expressed agreement with Taeyeon, saying, “I was happy to film a special like Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) here. It’s nice to be able to tell stories. I was happy to sit as a panelist and have a conversation with others.”
Lee Hong-ki expressed concern about Jung Yong-hwa’s image, saying, “Yonghwa’s image is neat and smart, but I think that image will be completely ruined.” However, Jung Yong-hwa confidently expressed his expectations, saying, “My confidence will not diminish when I come here in person.”
