DJ Park Myung-soo apologized to BLACKPINK’s Jisoo for not being able to guess the title of “Flower”.

On the KBS Cool FM radio show aired on the 13th, DJ Park Myung-soo hosted the “Park Myung Soo Radio Show” with Kim Tae-jin, engaging in conversations with listeners.

Park mentioned, “Since the beginning of the year, there’s been a lot of attention on me from ‘Donkey Donkey’, ‘Red Carpet’, ‘Gag Concert’, and all of KBS’s energy. This energy should last until September. If it cuts off in June, I won’t receive an award. Please help me out a lot.”

He continued, “Now, where else can I go? If I do ‘1 Night 2 Days’ and ‘Pyeonstaurant,’ that would be it. If one of those programs gets a new episode and boosts the ratings, it’s almost guaranteed an award. Greed is slowly creeping in. I hope you’ll help me out a lot.”

Then, a quiz was introduced where listeners had to guess the title of a song based on a snippet. Park struggled, guessing, “Isn’t it Bruno Mars?” “Solid?” “Just based on this, I don’t know.” Eventually, he stumbled upon, “‘La Song’, isn’t it?” while expressing, “Let me guess. My closest and favorite singers are Jin-ee, IU, and Jisoo. I’ve also become quite close with Lee Hyo-ri. There are others too.”

However, the correct answer was Jisoo‘s “Flower”, leading Park to sigh, saying, “I’m sorry.” Kim Tae-jin expressed regret, saying, “The approach was good, but you couldn’t guess the title.” When it was suggested that there might be a connection between them, Park replied, “No, no. I’m really sorry. She’s in my top 5 favorite celebrities in the world. The best in personality. I know her songs, but if she came out as part of a team rather than solo, I would have gotten it 100%.”

Kim Tae-jin urged Park to publicly apologize to Jisoo. In response, Park jokingly exclaimed, “I only said we were close, but I didn’t know anything. I feel so sorry for not taking care of Jisoo like my own child. Don’t cut off contact or change your number because of this. If you send me a DM, I won’t forget your beautiful heart. Please forgive me just this once. I’ll reflect for a while,” eliciting laughter.
