Hong Kong actor Tony Leung has finally spoken out about the extramarital affair rumors with former WJSN member Chinese actress Cheng Xiao

On the 16th (KST), Indian media Pinkvilla reported that Tony Leung’s spokesperson stated regarding the extramarital affair rumors, “We can firmly say that it is clearly not true,” and that it is “baseless rumors and complete falsehood.”
On the 12th, Hong Kong and Taiwan media reported that Tony Leung was embroiled in extramarital affair rumors with Cheng Xiao. Local media even circulated rumors that Cheng Xiao had given birth to Tony Leung’s child, and that he had purchased real estate in Japan for Cheng Xiao.
Especially according to Taiwanese media, the two were spotted shopping together last year, sparking rumors that they were secretly dating.
However, Cheng Xiao immediately issued a statement through her agency, stating, “The rumors are baseless falsehoods,” and expressing her intention to take legal action against the spreaders of the rumors.
Meanwhile, Tony Leung debuted in 1983 and gained recognition for his acting in director Wong Kar-wai’s film “In the Mood for Love.” He has appeared in works like “Chungking Express,” “Happy Together,” “Ashes of Time,” and “The Warlords.” Recently, he also garnered attention for his special appearance in the music video “Cool with You” by New Jeans.
Cheng Xiao made her debut as a member of WJSN in 2016 but suspended her domestic activities around 2018. She later sparked controversy by sharing an article that distorted the history of the Korean War, referring to it as the “U.S.-provoked anti-intervention war.” Cheng Xiao officially left WJSN in March.
