Lee Soo-geun and Park Ji-yeon received a full family health checkup due to worrying health conditions

Lee Soo-geun and Park Ji-yeon received a health checkup.

On January 31, Park Ji-yeon said, “I heard that my digestion has been getting worse and my heart hurts lately, so on my husband’s (Lee Soo-geun) day off, I went for a health checkup for the whole family.”

She explained the health check-up for the entire family, saying, “The kids get basic checkups, and we even had endoscopy.”

She then confessed, “I had five large polyps two years ago, but this time I had one small polyp removed. The stomach test didn’t say anything, so that means it’s okay, right? I think I’ll be relieved when all the results come out.”

Park Ji-yeon also added, “My husband always had a polyp when he had a colonoscopy every 2-3 years, but this time it was cleared! We had it every time, so we were both surprised.”

Meanwhile, Park Ji-yeon married Lee Soo-geun, who is 12 years older than her, in 2008, and she has two sons.

Park Ji-yeon received kidney transplant surgery in 2011 when she was pregnant with her second child due to kidney strain due to pre-eclampsia.

She received a kidney transplant from her father in 2011, but has been on dialysis for five years due to health reasons. She was recommended for reoperation and her name was put on the waiting list for a brain dead patient.

She later confessed that she had suffered side effects from the steroid Moon Face. In the video she released, she showed that although the swelling went down after starting dialysis, she was always worried about his facial line, and that she regained her health and beauty.

In addition, Tae-seo, the second son of Lee Soo-geun and Park Ji-yeon, was born underweight at 1.6 kg in 2010 and received rehabilitation treatment for cerebral palsy.

In last year’s KBS Joy entertainment show “Knowing Brothers”, Lee Soo-geun said, “My youngest, who has some discomfort in his right limbs, fell on his right side, but he couldn’t extend his right hand, so he fell on his face and his jaw was torn open. We went to the emergency room and got stitches.”

“As a parent, I cry because I think I couldn’t protect him. But since he’s a disability, there’s nothing I can do about it.”
