Marvel Project on the Horizon: Jennie from BLACKPINK Offered Role, YG Entertainment Sets the Record Straight

Rumors have been swirling about the possibility of BLACKPINK member Jennie Kim being offered a role in a Marvel Cinematic Universe project. Media outlets have been speculating that Jennie might join the upcoming series “Kingdom War-New Agents of Atlas” and potentially portray the character Luna Snow, a pop sensation and superhero introduced in the video game “Marvel Super War.”

However, YG Entertainment, the music label representing BLACKPINK, has addressed these rumors and stated that there is no truth to the reports of Jennie receiving an offer to star in a Marvel project.

In other news, concerns were raised about Jennie’s health after she appeared unwell during the Melbourne concert of their “Born Pink World Tour.” On June 11, Jennie had to leave the stage midway through her performance due to her deteriorating condition.

YG Entertainment expressed regret over the situation and explained that despite Jennie’s strong determination to continue performing, they had to prioritize her well-being. They immediately took measures to ensure she receives sufficient rest and stability based on medical advice.

Jennie, who recently made her Hollywood debut in the drama “The Idol,” playing the role of Dyanne, has attended the 76th Cannes Film Festival along with the cast. Through this project, she has been able to showcase her talent on a global stage.

Fans and followers of BLACKPINK will have to wait for any official announcements regarding Jennie’s potential involvement in a Marvel project, while YG Entertainment continues to address concerns about her health and provide updates on her recovery.
