Netflix has confirmed the release of “Squid Game Season 2” in 2024 through the “Next On Netflix” preview of its 2024 lineup and has unveiled the first stills.

The Netflix series “Squid Game,” which tells the story of individuals risking their lives to become the last winner in a mysterious survival game with a prize of 456 billion won, is returning for Season 2 in 2024.

Season 2, returning amid global anticipation, begins with Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae), who gave up going to the United States, returning with his own purpose. The four newly released stills stimulate curiosity about what thrilling story “Squid Game” will unfold in Season 2, following the global phenomenon of Season 1.

The intense performances of actors who have received explosive love since Season 1, such as Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) and Frontman (Lee Byung-hun), captured attention. Additionally, there is fervent interest in the new character played by Park Gyu-young, making her first appearance in the new season.
