Stray Kids achieves 1st place on the US Billboard 200 for 4 consecutive years

The mini album ”Rockstar” released by Stray Kids on November 10 sold 220,000 copies in the United States in the first week of release. It sold 4,000 copies and ranked first on the Billboard 200 main chart as of November 25. As a result, Stray Kids’ four works, including ”ODDINARY” and ”MAXIDENT” in 2022, and ”★★★★★ (5-STAR)” in June of this year, including their new album, are on the Billboard 200. As soon as we entered, we set a record of reaching the highest point.

In particular, Stray Kids became the first K-pop group to rank first with all four albums that entered the Billboard 200 chart, starting with their debut album. According to Billboard, this record follows pop star Alicia Keys from 2001 to 2007, and the group One Direction, who ranked first with all four albums from 2012 to 2014, excluding the live album.

In addition, Stray Kids topped the chart four times in about 20 months from March 2022, when they first achieved No. 1 on the Billboard 200, to November 2023, which is the fastest rate in K-pop and 16 months worldwide. This is the second record, following Taylor Swift.

Stray Kids is firmly establishing itself as a global K-pop star in name and reality. Stray Kids are the first group to rank first on the Billboard 200 four times in a row since BTS. Since their official debut in March 2018, they have been directly responsible for all album work centered around the group’s producing team 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han), and have achieved top results in the global music market as a ”self-producing group”, gaining huge popularity.
