Accordingly, Goo Hoo-in proposed the so-called ‘’Goo Hara Law’’. This law, which aims to add persons who have significantly neglected their duty to protect and support lineal ascendants or lineal descendants to the current Civil Code in order to limit the inheritance qualifications of parents who have not fulfilled their child-rearing obligations, has been passed by the State Council, but has not yet been submitted to the National Assembly.
