6 years have passed since Jonghyun of SHINee left fans and SHINee

Six years have passed since the late Jonghyun of SHINee passed away.

On the 18th, SM Entertainment remembered the late Jonghyun by posting a photo of him on SHINee‘s official Instagram with a short message, “I will always love you.”

Jonghyun was found in a state of cardiac arrest at a residence in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul on December 18, 2018. He died at the age of 27. The late Jonghyun, who debuted as a member of SHINee, was not only an excellent vocalist, but also active in writing and composing lyrics. He participated in the production of many songs, including SHINee’s “Juliet”, IU‘s “Gloomy Clock”, Taemin‘s “Pretty Boy”, and Lee Hi‘s “Breathe”.

He was also active as a DJ and novelist. He met radio listeners as a DJ for the radio show “Blue Night”, and also published the novel “Skeleton Flower”. The bereaved family established the foundation “Shiny Foundation” in 2018 using the deceased’s copyright fees to support the activities of artists devoted to cultural and artistic activities.
