BTS’ Suga starts military service: “I will return after completing my service faithfully. See you in 2025!”

On the 22nd, Suga posted on the fan platform Weverse, “Thanks to ‘ARMY’, we came this far safely. “And now the time has come,” he said, adding, “I will return after completing my service faithfully.”

He continued, “Be careful of the chilly fall season. See you all in 2025. ARMY (fandom name)! “I am always grateful and love you,” he added.

Suga plans to go to work for the first time at his alternative service location on the 22nd and fulfill his military service obligations by working as a social worker. It is reported that he is scheduled to receive basic military training at a training center at a later date.

Previously, Suga had undergone shoulder surgery in 2020 due to a left posterior labrum tear.

Big Hit Music said, “There will be no separate official event on the day Suga begins his service and enters the training center. We ask that you refrain from visiting your workplace during your alternative service period. “We ask for your continued support and love until the day Suga returns in good health.”

Currently, BTS Jin and J-Hope are serving as active-duty soldiers in the army. Suga is the third member of the team to fulfill military service obligations, and the enlistment schedules for RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are not yet known.

Meanwhile, Big Hit Music announced on the 20th, “We have agreed to a second contract renewal with all BTS members. In 2025, we will be able to participate in BTS’ full-length activities. “We plan to conclude contracts individually and sequentially, taking into account the military service status of some members.”
