VIXX’s Hyuk has enlisted in the military

VIXX’s Hyuk has enlisted in the military.

Born in 1995, Hyuk, the youngest member of VIXX, has begun his mandatory military service as the final member of the team. He entered the training camp on the 18th and will start his alternative military service as a social service worker after completing basic military training.

Earlier, his agency, Company Company, stated, “There will be no separate official event on the day of enlistment. We ask for your understanding as he enlists privately to prevent safety accidents due to site congestion,” and “Please refrain from visiting the enlistment site and alternative service workplace.”

They added, “We ask for a lot of love and support from the fans so that Hyuk can fulfill his military duty faithfully and return healthier and more mature.”

Hyuk debuted as a member of VIXX in 2012 and has received much love for his unique concepts and performances. Since 2016, he has been active as an actor in various fields including movies, dramas, theater, and musicals.

About three weeks before his enlistment, on March 30th, Hyuk held a solo fan concert titled “Home” at the Sungshin Women’s University Unjeong Green Campus Grand Hall, where he met fans in two sessions at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. (KST) During the concert, he expressed his sincere feelings towards fans, saying, “I will strive to become a bigger and broader home for all of you, so please always support me and wait for me in good health.”
