BTS V and BLACKPINK Jennie Spotted in Paris, Sparks Dating Speculations

BTS member V and BLACKPINK’s Jennie were recently caught on camera in Paris, fueling dating rumors among fans.

On May 17, a video surfaced on social media showing V and Jennie enjoying a date along the banks of the Seine River in Paris, without wearing masks and holding hands affectionately. The video also revealed the presence of what appeared to be BTS and BLACKPINK managers accompanying them.

Alongside the video, several eyewitness accounts and photos emerged online. One photo, in particular, showed a couple resembling V and Jennie sitting by a hotel window, gently brushing each other’s hair and sharing a kiss on the cheek. Some netizens speculated that the photo captured an intimate moment between the two idols in their accommodation.

However, it was later discovered that the viral photo of V and Jennie was actually a captured image from a video of a Chinese couple that was posted on Chinese version of TikTok, Douyin, back in March. The Chinese couple shared a similar hairstyle and silhouette to V and Jennie, causing the mix-up.

Both Big Hit Music and YG Entertainment, the respective agencies of V and Jennie, have not released any official statements regarding the Paris dating rumors. They responded with vague answers, stating that it is difficult to confirm the authenticity of the claims.

V and Jennie have been at the center of dating rumors since last year. V recently traveled to Paris for a fashion photoshoot, while Jennie is known to be staying in France for her attendance at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.
