FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena departs for ‘2023 Billboard music awards’ with a relaxed smile

FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena was seen wearing a relaxed smile as she departed for LA to attend the ‘2023 Billboard Music Awards’ (‘2023 BBMAs’).

On the afternoon of the 16th, Keena, a member of FIFTY FIFTY, left for the United States in preparation for her attendance at the ‘2023 BBMAs,’ scheduled for the 19th.

FIFTY FIFTY has been nominated in the Top Duo/Group category and the Top Global K-pop Song category at the ‘2323 BBMAs.’ In the Top Duo/Group category, they are nominated alongside Metallica, Puella Regis, Aeslabon Armado, and Grupo Frontiera. In the Top Global K-pop Song category, they are nominated alongside BTS‘s Jimin and Jungkook, and NewJeans.

According to the agency, due to the ceremony being held virtually, Keena plans to attend a private party on the 18th to build relationships with global music industry professionals. ATTRAKT USA’s COO Kim Se-hwang is also expected to attend the event.

Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY achieved a new record by ranking 17th on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with their single album ‘Cupid,’ released in February. They successfully charted for 25 weeks. However, in June, the members raised issues such as ATTRAKT’s unclear accounting, negligence in managing the members’ mental and physical health, and lack of support, leading to the suspension of their exclusive contract. The court ruled in favor of ATTRAKT, but FIFTY FIFTY continued to expose allegations against Attract’s CEO Jeon Hong-jun. Recently, member Keena filed a lawsuit independently and returned to the agency, while ATTRAKT has notified the remaining members of the termination of their exclusive contracts.
