The 33rd Seoul Music Awards announces star-studded MC lineup: Lee Seung-gi, BamBam, Youngjae, and Tiffany Young to host the event in Bangkok

The 33rd Seoul Music Awards has revealed its MC lineup.

On November 10, the Seoul Music Awards Secretariat announced, “Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi, BamBam and Youngjae of the group GOT7, and Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany Young will host the 33rd Seoul Music Awards scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand on January 2, 2024.”

Lee Seung-gi, through his agency Human Made, expressed his excitement about receiving a newcomer award for the first time in his life at the Seoul Music Awards, stating, “I have deep affection for the event. As I start the new year in 2024 as an MC for the Seoul Music Awards, I will captivate the attention of K-pop fans worldwide with the best hosting.”

Representatives of the third generation of K-pop, BamBam and Youngjae of GOT7, will also meet as MCs. BamBam, amid his busy schedule, gladly accepted the request from the Seoul Music Awards Secretariat to be an MC.

A representative of BamBam stated, “Despite his busy tour schedule, BamBam made time to attend the event in Thailand, his home country, as an MC.”

Second-generation K-pop queen Tiffany Young of Girls’ Generation is the powerhouse hidden card in the Seoul Music Awards MC lineup. Debuting with Girls’ Generation in 2007 and actively promoting worldwide as a member of TaeTiSeo, Tiffany Young has been a key player in spreading the charm of K-pop globally.

Tiffany Young, who ventured into a solo career in 2016 with the mini-album ‘I Just Wanna Dance,’ has been active in various fields such as music, musicals, and acting, showcasing her diverse talents. Fluent in both Korean and English, she is expected to bring excitement to the Seoul Music Awards.

Youngjae of GOT7, who recently released his first full-length album ‘D-DACTION,’ will be MCing alongside his former group member BamBam. On November 6, he released the solo album ‘D-DACTION,’ showcasing his outstanding capabilities as a solo artist.

The 33rd Seoul Music Awards is scheduled to take place on January 2, 2024, at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. As a festival where the brightest stars in the music industry shine, the event is anticipated to capture the attention of K-pop fans worldwide.
