 Yoo Jae-suk is signaling his return to terrestrial entertainment with “Whenever There’s A Chance”.

First, Yoo Jae-suk unveiled the new SBS variety show “Whenever There’s A Chance” with PD Choi Bo-pil, with whom he collaborated on “Running Man,” on the 23rd. Following this, he will present the pilot program ‘Syncro U’ on KBS2 in May.

With tvN’s “Apartment 404,” which was revealed in February, failing to gain much attention, expectations are now building around this new variety show launch.

“Whenever There’s A Chance” is a ‘gap-exploiting’ variety show that delivers luck within the brief moments of free time encountered in daily life. Yoo Jae-suk, who has previously sparked excitement with programs like “Yoo Quiz on the Block” and his YouTube channel has attracted attention through his collaboration with Yoo Yeon-seok and the appearances of top-notch guests such as Lee Kwang-soo, Ahn Yoo-jin, and Jo Jung-seok.

Regarding this, on the afternoon of the 22nd at the SBS studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, PD Choi Bo-pil and writer Chae Jin-ah, who are in charge of the new SBS variety show “Whenever There’s A Chance”, met with Sports Chosun to discuss the program.

Regarding the background of collaborating with Yoo Jae-suk, PD Choi mentioned, “I’ve made numerous proposals to Yoo Jae-suk in the past, but I felt attracted to the concept and intentions of ‘Whenever I Have Time.’ Our experience working together on ‘Running Man’ allowed us to understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses, which also influenced my decision to cast him.”

He also expressed hopes for a Season 2. PD Choi said, “If Season 2 production is confirmed, I think that alone would be a meaningful achievement.”

Furthermore, Yoo Jae-suk is making a comeback to music variety shows on KBS2 after four years. KBS2’s pilot program is a variety music show that identifies a 1% difference in synchronization between AI singers and real singers, creating a thrilling atmosphere. Yoo Jae-suk reunited with CP Park Min-jung from “Happy Together” and will be making an appearance on KBS2. The episode is set to air on May 10th.

Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-suk gained much anticipation after appearing on the tvN variety show “Apartment 404” in February. However, it received less-than-expected ratings. Now, attention is drawn to whether “Whenever There’s A Chance” will heal his past disappointments.
